Willkommen to the 46th Oktoberfest at the Deutsche Internationale Schule Pretoria!
Inspired by the legendary Oktoberfest in Mün chen\, Germany\, our festival is the first and most authentic beer celebra tion in South Africa! Join our school\, the German community\, and over te n thousand guests as we bring German “Gemütlichkeit” to life under Af rican skies.
In our main tent\, you’ll be entertained by the lively Oompah band "Die Frankenräuber" from Germany and the fanta stic Velvet Sound Oompah band from Pretoria. Our Biergarten will also feat ure an awesome lineup of musicians\, including "Maeztro\," "ONS\," and “ The Morning After Band.”
Beer lovers\, rejoice! We ha ve a splendid variety of beers that will delight even the most discerning connoisseurs. Plus\, there will be a wide range of other alcoholic and non -alcoholic beverages to enjoy.
Feast on Germany’s ric h food culture with delicious options like Eisbein\, Kassler\, Bockwurst\, Brezel\, Schaschlik (Sosatie)\, and more! Don’t forget to grab some tra ditional hats\, “funtastic” T-shirts\, and a few Lebkuchenherzen to co mplete your Oktoberfest experience.
